Kristian Bertel began photographing the beauty and the contrasts that surrounded him on his journey to India in 2008. Kristian is an Aarhus, Denmark based photographer, who takes interest in travel and portrait photography. "I am thrilled with the idea to capture the moment and freeze a situation. One of the things photography has taught me over the years is to pay attention. There are many scenes I see differently, since I started photographing. I have started paying more attention to people's faces, not just the smiling faces, but also more to the faces of melancholy."
