A recently graduated veterinarian, I have spent my whole life working for what I wanted - to work with wildlife - and am now so busy paying off the debts that I never get the chance.
My two primary obsessions are travel and wildlife, and South Africa is the perfect combination of the two passions.
I often see people win competitions or money and get myself upset thinking "I could do so much more with that!".
The god's honest truth is that I WANT TO CHANGE THE WORLD!
I want to teach people about places, and wildlife, and life in general.
Not to mention that I sincerely hope that by doing it with publicity, I might be able to encourage young women everywhere that come from nowhere towns and having nothing, that no matter how big your dreams are, if you work hard enough, you can have them.
My particular passion is for big cats, and I volunteer my weekends at a Big Cat Breeding Centre where I regularly get to pat, fed and generally get to know leopards, tigers, pumas etc and I truly believe there is no better feeling in the world.
Generally believed to be fearless, as I am always the first into a new experience (especially if it involves adrenalin!!!), the truth is that I'm almost always terrified - I just love proving that I can do it anyway.
So, put simply, I think that I deserve this because I have spent so long working so hard that I missed all the fun stuff.
Now I want my chance to change the world, one small step at a time.
