Udaipur is a beautiful city wth a deep cultural history. Ancient streets winding their way up and down crumbling buildngs with neon signs and colourful clothes. And right there on top of it all is the magnificient City Palace. It is as alluring in the day, standing tall above everything else, as it is at night, when it glows a dull golden with thousands of tiny lights.
The walls of this gigantic structure are carefully detailed with artwork of a bygone era. One could spends hours and hours within the Palace and still not be able to look at every detail. It really makes one wonder what it must've been like in its former glory. Beautiful paintings, intricate scultures, beaming stained glass windows and delicate inlay work enrapture you.
It is a rather touristy attraction, and the Palace is filled with people from all over the country. But not uncomfortably full.
